EU prepares the large-scale aid program to Ukraine, which costs more than EUR 100 mln, EU Ambassador to Ukraine Hug Mingarelli said during the presentation of the updated structure of reform support, the Economic Truth reports.
“We would like to help Ukrainian authorities to conduct a large scale reform process, which was launched two years ago. Today, most observers consider that the Ukrainian authority did a lot for implementation of reforms, especially within two last years, more than for 23 years of independence”, Mingarelli said.
Thus, according to the ambassador, EU will support the Office of Reforms, provide best experts for reforms support teams as well as will continue to support the group of strategic advisers, headed by Balcerovich and Ivan Miklos.
“We will start working with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, but, of course, we are ready to expand this experiment to other ministries, as soon as they are ready to it. Currently we also prepare the aid program to implement the reform of public administration. It costs more than EUR 100 mln”, Mingarelli noted.
