According to the law, tax inspections at district level will be changed from control and inspection authorities to advisory.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed the Law On Introduction of Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding improvement of investment climate in Ukraine”, according to the message of the press office of the President.
The relevant document of Poroshenko signed during the meeting with the Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for tax and customs policy Nina Yuzhanina and Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander Danyliuk.
“I would like to congratulate you on the completion of a very important process, which started from large-scale consultations with the public, huge work, in which business circles and public activists were engaged”, Poroshenko said, adding that due to adoption of this law the tax inspections at district level will be changed from control and inspection authorities into advisory.
In addition, Poroshenko expressed confidence that the fast implementation of the law will improve the investment climate in the state and since then the control functions of tax inspection remain at regional level. The President also noted that start-up companies are released from any inspections by the law for three years, if they have turnover of less than UAH 3 mln.
