The executive session of US House of Representatives with the participation of NSA and FBI has been adjourned, Correspondent.net reports.
The US House of Representatives postponed the executive session with the participation of FBI and NSA agencies, said Jack Legner, the representative of Chairman of the United States House Permanent Select Committee on IntelligenceDevin Nunes.
Previously, Nunes announced about the cancellation of open sessions, dedicated to the investigation of presumable RF interference with US presidential elections. The necessity to conduct the executive session with FBI Director James Comey and NSA Director Michael Rogers became the reason for it.
According to Lenger, Comey and Rodgers “will not be able to come” to the meeting. In the meantime, he expressed hope that the committee “will continue its attempts to appoint time, when they will be able to meet us at the executive session”.
Previously, the son-in-law of US President Donald Trump Jared Kushner told about his readiness to answer the questions of the intelligence committee of the Senate within the investigation of Russia’s interference with US elections.
