Report on Ukraine's foreign economic activities
Exports of goods and services of Ukraine for the first six months of 2013 were $37.6887 billion, and imports - $38.4861 billion, State Statistics Service reports.
Compared to the first half of 2012 exports were 93.5% and imports - 87.2%. Negative foreign trade balance made $797.4 million (for the first half of 2012 also negative with $3.7995 billion).
In first half of 2013, exports and imports of Ukrainian goods amounted to $30.7427 billion and $34,963.1 million. As compared to the same period in 2012, exports amounted to 91.3%, imports - to 85.5%.
The negative balance of foreign trade was $4.2204 billion (first half of 2012 also negative at $7.2261 billion).
Export to import ratio was 0.88 (first half of 2012 – 0.82).
Foreign trade involved partners from 209 countries.
