The businessperson Igor Kolomoysky commented on PrivatBank’s annual reports, checked by the auditors of Ernst & Young, UNIAN reports.
“I familiarized with PrivatBank’s official annual report, the auditor of which was Ernst & Young”, the businessperson said.
“If, in their reports for the government, PrivatBank’s senior executives, appointed by the state, estimated about UAH 9 billion of loans to the companies, associated with former shareholders at the time of nationalization”, Kolomoysky noted.
He emphasized that the National Bank and the Ministry of Finance appointed these managers after the careful selection and analysis of their professional competencies.
“The only thing, which causes fears, is the rash statements of NBU officials, who, in order to justify nationalization, rushed to inform all PrivatBank’s corporate lenders that it is Kolomoysky and Bogoliubov, who should pay their debts. They continue spreading this fake in mass media, using even international news agencies”, Kolomoysky said.
“It is evident that after such statements, PrivatBank’s lenders can stop repaying their debts. Indeed, it turns out that the National Bank officially informed that they owe nothing. It can cause harm to the bank. Therefore, we need to make such statements, after careful consideration, of course”, the businessperson said.
