The agricultural holdings UkrLandFarming PLC and Avangardco IPL appointed the London-based company Ziff-Ivin Associates Ltd as the financial advisor to assist in restructuring some debts of the group, Liga.net reports quoting the press office of Avangardco IPL.
As reported, it refers to 500 mln dollars of the debt of UkrLandFarming PLC and 200 mln dollars of Avangardco IPL.
According to the message, Ziff-Ivin Associates Ltd is engaged in addition to the legal advisor Latham & Watkins LLP.
Previously it was reported that Oshchadbank agreed to restructure the loan debt of Oleg Bakhmatiuk’s Avangardco IPL.
Ukrlandfarming is the largest agricultural holding in Eurasia.
It deals with growing grain crops, producing eggs and egg products, cattle breeding, distributing equipment, fertilizers and seeds.
In January, Bakhmatiuk stated that he conducts negotiations on the sale of 50% of company’s shares with Chinese and U.S. investors.
It became known later that the businessperson Oleg Bakhmatiuk became the one hundred percent owner of the largest Ukrainian agricultural holding “Ukrlandfarming”.
