The Cabinet of Ministers included Main Gas Pipelines of Ukraine PJSC in the list of state-owned properties, according to the press lease of the Cabinet of Ministers.
As reported, during the session of July 19, the government approved the draft Law of Ukraine On Introduction of Amendments to the Law of Ukraine On the List of State-Owned Properties, Which Are not Subject to Privatization.
The document was aimed at ensuring proper identification of Main Gas Pipelines of Ukraine PJSC in the list of state-owned properties, which are not subject to privatization, approved by the said law.
The article 5 of the Law of Ukraine On Privatization of State-Owned Properties stipulates that the properties of national importance, namely main oil and gas pipelines, main pipeline transport, serving the needs of the state in general, are not subject to privatization.
According to the Charter, ensuring the uninterruptible transportation of natural gas through main gas pipelines, the efficient operation and property management are the missions of Main Gas Pipelines of Ukraine PJSC.
