The court obligated PrivatBank to open access for the prosecutor’s office to the documents, which constitute a banking secret on the accounts of legal entities.
By the ruling of the Pechersk District Court dd. 13 July 2017 the prosecutor’s office managed to obtain access to PrivatBank’s documents on the case in regard to causing bankruptcy, Correspondent.net reports.
The ruling states that the General Prosecutor’s Office requested access to the documents, which constitute a banking secret on PrivatBank’s accounts of legal entities.
The list of legal entities, the accounts of which will be checked, are indicated in the court ruling.
It should be reminded that Chairman of the Management Board of PrivatBank Alexander Shlapak reported that the auditor found the systemic violations in the bank, committed by former management during disbursement of loans, amounting to UAH 133 billion, and the General Prosecutor’s Office initiated criminal cases in regard to causing insolvency of the financial institution.
