The implementation of the corporate governance reform of Energoatom NJSEC PE envisages three stages, the press office of the agency reported to UNN.
First of them, namely the development of a charter, was completed. Currently, it is being approved in the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining.
“As of today, Energoatom NJSC SE fulfilled the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine and loan agreements with MFO and is expecting for a response and approval of the updated version of the charter”, the press office of the company said.
It should be reminded that last week Prime Minister V. Groisman encouraged speeding up the corporate governance reform in Ukrhydroenergo, Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukrpochta, Ukrenergo, Boryspil Airport, SFGCU and Energoatom.
As UNN reported, Naftogaz NJSC reported that their reform of corporate governance blocked the government.
In the meantime, the Ministry of Energy explained that they are not satisfied with the corporate governance reform in Naftogaz NJSC, because they are not rushing to conduct it in other accountable institutions, in particular Ukrenergo and Ukrhydroenergo.
According to Deputy Minister N. Boyko, the signing of Ukrenergo’s charter was expected last month; however, the document is still being approved by Minister I. Nasalyk.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Infrastructure noted the success of the corporate governance reform, conducted in Ukrpochta.
