Facebook’s net profit increased by 71 percent, up to 3.9 billion dollars, in Q2 2017 versus the same period of the last year, DW reports.
As reported, the company’s turnover increased by 45 percent, up to 9.3 billion dollars. The most part of this amount is the advertising revenues, which increased by 47 percent, up to 9.1 billion dollars.
At the same time, the mobile advertisements mainly provoked this Facebook’s profit surge.
“We had a good second quarter and a good first half year”, Zuckenberg summarized.
It should be reminded that in late July 2017, Facebook will launch advertisements for Messenger users.
