Since early 2011, more than 76.5 thousand “stuck” apartments have accumulated on the Kyiv’s new-built property market, according to the survey, conducted by the analysts of the real estate search portal Address.ua jointly with the experts of the real estate agency ARPA Real Estate, ABC News reports, quoting Address.UA.
Reportedly, in Kyiv, 20.7 ths new apartments were offered for sale in the first half of 2011, while 1110 deals were concluded for this period.
Therefore, for the first six months of 2017, almost 19.6 ths apartments remained unsold, and since early 2011, more than 76.5 ths “stuck” properties accumulated on the market.
Meanwhile, since April 2017, the sharp decline of sales growth rates was observed. Consequently, the accumulation of new-built properties on the capital market will continue to increase.
