The situation with delayed issue of foreign passports in Ukraine will improve in December-January, the representative of Document SE Vladimir Polishchuk told, Finance.ua reports quoting RBC-Ukraine.
“On the website of the polygraphic integrated plant “Ukraine”, in other sources, you may already see that the government approved the decision on allocation of funds for purchasing a new line for printing foreign passports, which will be installed, adjusted in this December, or in next year’s January, and I think that all the problems, related to drawing up and issue of foreign passports will soon disappear” , he told, adding that the situation, under which the people do not obtain ordered documents in time, still remains. “The situation with a rush somehow improved, if it is possible to say so”.
That is the queues decreased, but still the people, who ordered urgent foreign passport, have to wait for it not for seven working days, but for about a month. Those, who ordered foreign passport in regular mode (20 working days) are expecting for their departure abroad in about two months, probably, two and a half months”, Polishchuk told.
It should be reminded that previously the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine allowed a temporary complication of the process of submission of documents for drawing up of foreign passports.
