Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavel Klimkin submitted the law on education for examination to the European Commission For Democracy Through Law (Venice Commission) on Thursday evening, he said during his interview with 1+1, Ukrainian News reports.
“Today, I submitted this law, as was agreed, for consideration of the Venice Commission. As it formally came into force today plus translation”, Klimkin said.
In addition, he also said that Minister of Education and Science Lilia Grynevich will submit the law to the European Council during her visit to conduct consultations in the next week (October 2-8).
As Ukrainian News reports that the new version of the law on education came into force on Thursday.
