The National Bank and the representatives of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York agreed upon the expansion of cooperation in cybersecurity, as National Bank reported in Facebook, EP reports.
Reportedly, on October 3, in the National Bank, there was a meeting with the representatives of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, which is the part of U.S. Federal Reserve System.
The parties agreed to expand cooperation, in particular in cybersecurity, and to meet more often for consultations on the activities of central banks of Ukraine and the U.S. as well as influence of global trends on the financial system of the country.
During the meeting, Acting NBU’s Governor Yakov Smolii told about the large-scale internal reorganization of the National Bank as well as the steps, which the regulator already undertook towards the implementation of these reforms.
