The law enforcement officers detained Director of the Joint Stock Company “Ukrgazvydobutok” Vadim Mokhov, according to the message of the financial and industrial group “Smart-Holding”, EP reports quoting Ukrainian News.
“Today, the director of Ukrgazvydobutok PJSC, known in Kharkiv and the region as Vadim Mokhov, was detained. As his lawyer notes, the detention was accompanied by many violations of criminal procedural norms”, the message says.
As depo.ua reports, Mokhov is suspected of non-fulfilment of requirements of the order of the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resource of Ukraine on suspension of special permission for using resources during the period between July 28 and August 10, 2017.
It is also noted that the detention was based on the ruling of the court, to which the investigator provided data that Mokhov is allegedly hiding from pre-trial investigation agencies.
Smart-Holding Group claims that Mokhov’s detention is the part of systemic pressure of authorities over business.
It should be reminded that previously, Vadim Mokhov worked as the first deputy director of Prom-Energo Product LLC.
Ukrgazvydobutok OJSC is the company, which had license for development and production of natural gas and gas condensate on Ostroverkhivske deposit in Kharkiv region.
