What to do if you lose a passport and how to file an application to the Ministry
Ministry of Internal Affairs’ website now features a section «Assistance to citizens,» explaining what to do, how to make out documents correctly and where to turn to in an emergency, the press service of the Interior Ministry informs.
According to the Head of Communications at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Serhii Burlakov, Reference Materials section is prepared so as to simplify the search for the necessary information by the citizens finding themselves in difficult situations.
«Certainly, anyone can find themselves in trouble, so you may experience certain helplessness and confusion. Perhaps these tips will be for some kind of «first aid», the spokesperson of the Interior Ministry stated.
This section features materials classified by the following most common situations: how to file an appeal to the police, what to do in emergencies, how not to become a victim of robbers or fraudsters etc..
In addition, the section lists telephone numbers of 24/7 hot line at the MIA of Ukraine.
