President Petro Poroshenko expects for Ukraine’s GDP growth by 3.2% in 2018, he said during the Ukrainian-Maltese Business Forum, which was held on Tuesday, ET reports.
According to him, the real GDP increased by 2.3% for 6 months of this year.
“The construction also increased by 25.4% for 8 months 2017, the increase of capital investments is 22.5% for 6 months, the international reserves of the National Bank amounted to almost 18 bln dollars in August 2017”, the President stated.
“It is the demonstration of our stability. I can assure you that the forecast is optimistic”, the President noted and added that GDP growth is expected by more than 2% in 2017 and 3.2% in 2018.
Reportedly, the National Bank allows for the improvement of forecast of growth of the gross domestic product in 2017 during the next review of macroeconomic indicators in late October.
