The import of goods from Russia for January-August increased by 37.2% up to 4.204 bln dollars, the State Statistics Service reports, Politeka writes.
The volume of export of goods to RF increased by 17.7% - up to 2,620 bln dollars, the import of goods from RF – by 37.2%, up to 4.204 bln dollars.
The volume of export of goods to EU countries increased by 27.9% - up to 11.002 bln dollars, the import of goods from EU countries – by 22.8%, up to 13.047 bln dollars.
As Politeka reported, Chairman of the Committee of Economists of Ukraine Andrei Novak stated that EU’s imposition of antidumping tax against Ukrainian steel does not correspond to the spirit of the Free Trade Agreement.
It should be reminded that the experts collected information regarding the bilateral economic cooperation of Ukraine with EU countries; the conclusions showed that Germany, Poland, Belarus, Italy and Hungary have the leading positions in terms of both export and import indicators.
