Ukraine will renew gas purchase from Gazprom in case of transfer of Europe’s purchase of Russian gas to the border with RF, Vice Prime Minister Volodymyr Kistion said during his interview with ET.
“Never say never. Meanwhile, we should understand that the free cheese is only in the mousetrap. We can analyze our previous experience, when we were attached with attractive terms and then they decided all of their questions”, he said.
“If we transfer the transit accounting point to the eastern border, such option could be considered. In this format, the gas purchase from Russia is very risky and irresponsibly”, the Vice Prime Minister considers.
It should be reminded that Ukraine has not imported gas from Russian Federation for already 696 days.
