The European Bank of Reconstruction and Development decided to disburse the loan, amounting to 25 million euros, to Mironovsky Khleb for construction of a new biogas plant in Vinnytsa region, according to EBRD’s statement, EP reports quoting Ukrainian News.
The management board of EBRD approved this question on November 29.
These funds will be allocated for construction of a new biogas plant with capacity of 10 MW in Vinnytsia region.
The project will support the strategy of the Ministry of Chemical Production on increasing energy efficiency and ecological influence on its activities.
The total cost of the project is 27 mln euros.
As reported, on August 17, Mironovsky Khleb published the report on financial results for the first half of 2017 year, according to which the export made up 58% of company’s profit.
The net profit of the company was USD 210 mln that allowed the company to pay USD 78 mln of dividends.
Mironovskyi Khleb is the largest producer of chicken in Ukraine. According to the company, the Ministry of Chemical Production occupies 55% of the national chicken market.
