Elucidation for those who left the peninsula
Chair of the State Migration Service of Ukraine Sergey Radutny signed the document containing the elucidations for the SMSU regional bodies as regards the way of how to handle the passport related issues the citizens registered in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city attempt to solve; the bodies on the whole territory of Ukraine can obligatory be guided by these instructions, the statement of the State Migration Service of Ukraine says.
Particularly, this also refers to the replacement of a lost passport of the citizen of Ukraine, gluing an additional photo on the passport page at the age of 25 and 45, or in case of replacement ensued after the change in the surname, etc.
Thus, the said above categories of persons can apply for passport services in the nearest office of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, upon arrival.
It is worth noting that this simplified procedure is applied only to the citizens registered in the Crimean peninsula. The citizens of other regions of Ukraine can apply for the said services only at place of their residence.
