Directive №1067/5
The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine issued directive №1067/5 on 07.07.2014 to enter changes to the rules for spelling names of legal persons or its units, according to the information posted on dtkt.
In particular:
- personal name of a public association can contain the word “association”;
- the name of a sports federation should contain a word defining the kind of sport it develops, while the name of the disabled sportsmen federation should contain a word indicating a type of disability;
- the word «lottery» and collocations «government lottery», «national lottery», «Ukrainian lottery» in any case or context is not permitted in the name of the legal person that has not a status of operator/distributor of the national lottery;
- educational institution’s name should contain a word defining its type (preschool, school, gymnasium, lyceum, collegium, institute, conservatory, academy, university, etc.) and ownership structure.
The directive will come into force on the date of its publication in the official gazette.
