The Ukraine’s parliament has registered draft laws submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine designed to enter radical changes to fundamental principles outlining pension schemes: the draft bill on entering changes to some acts of Ukraine specifying mandatory pension savings plan, government pensions, and mandatory principles applied everywhere in the country (reg. No.2767), the draft bill on changes to article 588 of the Customs Code of Ukraine - on how to calculate pensions for officials working for revenue bodies by following general principles (reg. No.2768), the draft law on amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine concerning pensions for officials from supervisory authorities, based on the uniform principles (reg. №2769), and the draft law on amendments to article 87 of the Budget Code of Ukraine regarding contributions put into occupational pension schemes (reg. No. 2770), the press-office of the Ministry of Social Policy reports.
A package of bills was introduced by the Minister for Social Policy of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko at the government’s meeting held on April 29. The initiatives had been worked out by experts from the Ministry of Social Policy after consultations with civil society organizations, Ukrainian and foreign experts.
