Activities of issuers aligned with the law «On Joint Stock Companies»
NSSMC (National Securities and Stock Exchange Commission) announced results of activities for bringing activities of issuers in line with the Law «On Joint Stock Companies», the press service of the regulator informs.
«We made yet another step on bringing activities of joint stock companies in line with the law. Namely, the Commission adopted a number of decisions to stop amending to the system of registry of holders of securities and system of depository accounting for securities of certain issuers. I would like to note that this is not the final stage of this work, the regulator intends to continue systematically align the activities of issuers with the law. We hope that our initiative will improve the transparency and reliability of the securities market»- says Ievhen Voropaiev, a NSSMC member responsible for the vector of the Commission.
According to Voropaiev, in the near future another some 5 thousand decisions will be adopted.
