Decree №603–p
Cabinet of ministers approved the Concept of the State Target Economic Program for Industry Development till 2020. Decree № 603 -p is accepted at the Government meeting, the press service of the Cabinet of ministers informs.
Major challenges of the industry is a significant backlog of Ukraine in the field of information technology, dependence of economy of Ukraine in foreign markets, decreasing the share of high-tech industries, which leads to a reduction in demand for their own research and applied development and impedes development of technology transfer.
The Program is a comprehensive solution of issues in functioning of industrial sector of Ukraine by developing organizational and economic mechanism and fundraising for performing structural and technological modernization of domestic industry in direction of increasing the share of high-tech activities in output and exports, the needs of internal market in own production, increasing employment and thereby improving welfare.
The Program will promote existing and create the new jobs, improve real living standards of citizens and their social protection (increase in real wages of workers in industry is estimated at 10-15% annually), reduce dependence on imported manufactured goods through development of domestic manufacturing enterprises that will help reduce annual growth rate to 9-9.5%, providing an annual average growth rate of industrial exports by at least 7-10%, reduction of energy consumption by upgrading energy-intensive process equipment industry.
