Citizens may pass examinations in the SAI offices, regardless of place of registration
Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of 12.06.2013 № 627 «On Amending Certain Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine» has reduced the driver's license validity term from 50 to 30 years. This information is given in the message of the State Service for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship Development.
This examination, a pre-requisite for obtaining a driver's license, may be taken in the centers of the State traffic inspectorate, regardless of registration at place of residence or stay.
In addition, persons deprived of their right to drive vehicles for driving in the state of alcohol, drugs or other intoxication, or under the influence of medicines that impair attention and reaction time, a driving license is returned only after a compulsory extraordinary medical examination and taking theoretical and practical exams.
Seized driver license is stored in the local center of the State traffic inspectorate at the residence of the person deprived of the right to drive a vehicle.
The State also prepares and issues a new driver license in lieu of lost or stolen license after verifying the issuance of a driver license to the person who has declared its loss or theft.
In addition, this decree regulates affiliated institutions for training, retraining and advanced training of drivers.
