In the joint letter of 28.10.2013 the National Bank and Revenues Ministry cancel certificates for residents
Due to changes in legislation the National Bank of Ukraine by the joint letter with Revenues Ministry canceled the form of certificate of absence of currency values and property outside Ukraine, approved by the joint letter of NBU, STA and SCSU regarding submission of the declaration on currency values and property of 09.01.1998 № 13-226/53-188, № 206/10/22-0117, and № 11/3-247.
In accordance with the canceled document currency regulation and currency control were carried out through registration by state tax authority certificates on absence of currency values and property outside Ukraine, granted by business entities. Letter established forms of this certificate and the journal of their accounting, and provided that upon registration by the tax authorities these certificates would act as grounds for admission to customs clearance of export and import goods, banking transactions with currency values or performing other foreign economic activities.
Given that the new joint letter has revoked and canceled the previous one, the Revenues Ministry now has no legal basis to issue such certificates.
