Such contributions are not mandatory, including those into the Party of Regions’ fund
Due to media reports on the instances of enforced collection of charitable contributions at customs clearance of goods at the Kyiv customs office of the Revenues Ministry, the Main Department of the Ministry in Kyiv region issued an official statement claiming this information to be untrue, as stated by the agency’s press office.
We would like to stress that all procedures at customs clearance of goods occur exclusively within the current legislation, which excludes any possibility of proposals from the staff regarding customs clearance of goods for payment of voluntary contributions, including those in Fund of the Party of Regions.
