Living minimum increased by 71 UAH
According to the Law On State Budget of Ukraine for 2013 from December 1, 2013 the living minimum for basic social and demographic groups increased:
- For the working population – 1218 UAH;
- For persons unable to work – 949 UAH;
- Children under 6 years – 1032 UAH;
- For children aged 6 to 18 years – 1286 UAH;
- The overall payment - 1176 UAH.
Also the minimum wage increased:
- Monthly – 1218 UAH;
- Hourly - 7,30 UAH.
Consequently, the maximum amount of income on which the single social tax is charged in December 2013 is 20706 UAH.
Moreover, public welfare benefits, dependent on subsistence levels shall be automatically recalculated.
For example, birth allowances shall be set in the amount of:
- First child – 30960 UAH;
- Second child – 61920 UAH;
- For the third and each subsequent child - 123,840 UAH.
The minimum pension on age will be now 949 UAH (55 UAH increase).
