Through Gazprom Transgaz Krasnodar LLC, Gazprom provided other 125 bln rubles for financing TurkStream.
According to Gazprom’s message, the loan was disbursed to South Stream Transport B.V. (100% subsidiary company if Gazprom PJSC), Interfax reports.
“The funds, provided by the lender, are used by the borrower for replenishing the working capital”, the company specifies.
The interests under contract are monthly accrued, amounting to 5.59% per annum from the arrears on the principal. The borrower undertakes to repay the loan amount not less than 30 December 2023.
The deal was concluded on September 26.
TurkStream is the project of non-transit export gas pipeline from Russia to Turkey through the Black Sea and so on to Turkish border with adjacent countries. The first string of gas pipeline was intended for the Turkish market, second – for gas supply to South and South-Eastern European countries. The capacity of each string is 15.75 bln cub. m. per year.
