A new trade treaty “converges all three great nations in competition with the whole remaining world”, U.S President considers.
U.S. President Donald Trump commented on signing a new trade treaty with Canada, which will replace the North American Free Trade Agreement, korrespondent reports.
“Yesterday, at late night, we reached a new wonderful trade treaty with Canada, which will become a part of already concluded agreement with Mexico. It will be called USMCA”, Trump wrote in Twitter on Monday, October 1.
“It is a large agreement for our three countries; it corrects multiple difficulties and mistakes, made in NAFTA, opens markets for our farmers and manufacturers, removes barriers and converges three great nations in competition against remaining world. USMCA is the historic deal”, U.S. President added.
It should be reminded that in late August, U.S. and Mexico reported achievement of the agreement, intended to replace NAFTA.
