Stock indexes turned higher

British Stock Exchange Index (FTSE 100) rose by 0.34%;
French Stock Index (CAC 40) increased by 0.78%;
The German stock index (DAX) rose by 0.42%;
Italy's stock index (FTSE MIB) was higher by 2.04%;
Spain's key stock index (IBEX) rose by 1.89%;
European stocks held gains on Thursday, still supported by the release of broadly positive manufacturing and service sector data from the euro zone, as well as an earlier report out of China.
