US President Barak Obama warned US voters that everything that was achieved during the eight years of his presidency, can disappear in case of Hilary Clinton’s defeat at the elections, BBC reports.
Obama delivered speech at the meeting of supporters of the Democratic Party in North Carolina. He said that the whole country’s destiny is now in hands of voters.
In his turn, Republican Candidate Donald Trump said to his supporters in Florida that the Clinton’s victory will lead the country to constitutional crisis.
According to him, in case of the victory Clinton will become the president, prosecuted in court. These words were said amid the recently erupted pre-election scandal, associated with Clinton’s time as US Secretary of State.
Previously FBI claimed that it found new emails, which may be related to the use by Hilary Clinton of her personal mail server for internal correspondence during her time as US Secretary of State.
FBI Chief James Comey did not specify if these letters are of particular importance, after which he faced much harsh criticism from Clinton and the representatives of the Democratic Party.
In particular, Obama spoke in defense of Clinton due to the erupted scandal. The normal investigations are not built on insinuations, US President said.
FBI already investigated the case on Hilary Clinton’s emails. In July 2016, the investigators concluded that she did not do anything illegal.
US elections will take place on November 8. Most social surveys demonstrate that Clinton is leading in the presidential race; however, minimum one survey shows the slender lead of Trump.
