US Vice President Jo Biden said that he does not exclude the possibility that he will run for presidency in the USA in 2020, BBC reports.
“I will run for presidency in 2020”, Vice President claimed in Barack Obama’s administration at the meeting with a small circle of journalists.
When the Vice President was asked again, if he really intends to stand as a candidate, he said that he does not exclude such opportunity.
“I do not promise that I will not propose my candidacy. I do not promise, because I know that sometimes the fate interferes with our affairs in a very strange way”, Biden explained.
Jo Biden assumed office as US Vice President in 2009, after he won elections together with Democratic candidate Barack Obama.
Since 1973, Biden occupied the post of US Senator from Delaware. Twice, in 1988 and 2008, he tried to become the candidate from the Democratic Party on US presidential elections, however both times he withdraw his candidacy.
