Ukraine has signed the agreement of participation in the international exhibition EXPO-2017 in Astana, Kazinform IIA reports, quoting the EXPO-2017 Commissioner’s secretariat.
Today, on February 23, as part of the Third Meeting of International Participants of EXPO-2017, the exhibition’s commissioner Rapil Zhoshybayev conducted meeting with the deputy commissioner of Ukraine’s section Sergei Savchuk.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the preparation for EXPO-2017, the terms of participation, the content of the country’s hall and the celebration of the National Day of Ukraine within the exhibition.
Savchuk reported that Ukraine will present last developments and solutions in the sphere of renewable energy. Ukraine intends to expand alternative electrical energy facilities, raising its share in the energy consumption balance up to 11% in 2020.
As per the results of the meeting, Zhoshybaev and Savchuk signed the agreement of participation of Ukraine in the international specialized exhibition EXPO-2017.
