The White House officials received an order to prepare the meeting of President Donald Trump and DPRK’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un in Singapore, CNN reports quoting the sources.
Previously, Trump claimed by himself that he will announce about it in three days. Previously, U.S. President mentioned Singapore as the possible place of meeting as well as excluded its holding in the demilitarized zone between South and North Korea.
According to U.S. officials, Singapore is the preferred place, who consider its neutrality as the advantage in comparison to the points, located closer to Pyongyang.
As White House Press Secretary Sara Sanders reported, the respective decision was already approved.
“I can say to you that the date and place are determined, but except for that, now I do not have any statements”, she noted.
