A day before withdrawal from the nuclear agreement with Iran, U.S. addressed Saudi Arabia with request to stabilize oil prices, if they sharply increase at once, Reuters reports quoting three sources, Correspondent.net reports.
According to them, Washington was concerned that the oil supplies from Iran will be violated and the oil product prices will increase.
Before Trump’s statement, U.S. administration official called the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammad ibn Salman to assure himself of Riyadh’s support.
It should be reminded that on May 8, U.S. President Donald Trump announced about the withdrawal of his country from agreement on the nuclear program of Iran, and announced re-imposition of sanctions against Teheran.
