Stock indexes fell down
European stock indexes inched lower in light volumes on Friday, December 13. Investors remained on edge ahead of next week's U.S. Federal Reserve policy meeting. The Fed could start winding down its stimulus measures. Therefore, investors tended to get rid of risky assets which were strongly benefited from the central banks.
According to Bloomberg, Friday's index of the British stock exchange (FTSE 100) was down 0.08%;
French Stock Index (CAC 40) was down 0.23%;
German stock index (DAX) down 0.12%;
The key stock index of Spain (IBEX) up 0.01%;
Stock index of Italy (FTSE MIB) has not changed.
