Washington can impose 20% import tariffs for European cars, taking into account the current tariffs for U.S. companies in EU, U.S. President Donald Trump wrote about it in Twitter, HB reports.
“Based on the Tariffs and Trade Barriers long placed on the U.S. and it great companies and workers by the European Union, if these Tariffs and Barriers are not soon broken down and removed, we will be placing a 20% Tariff on all of their cars coming into the U.S. Build them here!”, he said.
It should be noted that on June 22, EU imposed tariffs, amounting to 25%, for U.S. export goods, totaling €2.8 bln.
