Ukraine will work on the liberalization of visa regime with Japan.
President believes that it is necessary to stimulate studying Japanese in Ukrainian educational institutions.
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko informed that he will raise the question of liberalization of visa regime for Ukrainian citizens before the Japanese side.
“I think that now we will actively work on lifting visa restrictions. Today we put the question of liberalization of visa regime for the owner of regular passports, which will activate the exchange”, - President said, while communicating with Ukrainian community in Tokio on Wednesday.
The President also added that it is necessary to stimulate studying Japanese in Ukrainian educational institutions and send students for internship in Japan.
“We see huge prospects of relationships between countries. Now I can say that there were not such relationships, as now, for the whole history of Ukraine”, - Poroshenko added.
Previously President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko informed that 2017 will be announced as the Year of Japan in Ukraine.
