Ukraine has reduced gas consumption in May by about 10%, UBR reports.
Ukraine has reduced consumption of natural gas in May versus May 2015 by 9.7% - up to 1.229 bln cubic meters, according to the State Statistics Service, UNIAN reports
According to State Statistics data, in May the gas consumption decreased by 30% versus April 2016.
In May Ukraine also reduced consumption of crude oil and gas condensate by 76% versus May 2015 – to 15.6 ths tons, petrol – by 5.8% to 41.7 ths tons and diesel fuel – by 0.7%, to 266.4 ths tons.
As UNIAN reported, as per data of the gas transport system operator “Ukrtransgas” in January-May 2016 Ukraine reduced consumption of natural gas versus the same period of 2015 by 13.2% - up to 15.1 bln cubic meters with 17.4 bln cubic meters.
In 2015 Ukraine reduced consumption of natural gas by 20.9% versus 2014 – up to 33.727 bln cubic meters.
