The officials promised to create uniform operating rules for auction organizers, UBR reports.
The National Bank, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Individual Deposit Insurance Fund and the International Non-Governmental Organization Transparency International have agreed on building transparent and efficient system of sales of properties of bankrupt banks.
The relevant memorandum was signed on June 24.
As a result of its realization the uniform operating rules for auction organizers, forming the basis for electronic public procurement system ProZorro, will be created.
The competition will increase due to simplification of access of exchanges and all interested investors to information about assets, offered for sale.
“In its turn, it will lead to increase of proceeds from sales, allow the Deposit Insurance Fund to return funds, borrowed for payment of indemnification to depositors, and to meet requirements of lenders of insolvent banks”, - NBU Governor Valeria Hontareva noted.
