The Prime Minister is concerned about the price of Rotterdam+ coal and this issue needs to be urgently tackled, UBR reports.
Prime-Minister Volodymyr Hroisman assigned to urgently tackle the issue of new mechanism of Ukrainian coal pricing linked to the coal price in Rotterdam port and transport vehicles. This mechanism was implemented this spring by the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities (NCSREPU), Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“I consider that this formula of coal pricing, the so-called “Rotterdam+”, has many unknowns… Yesterday I had conversation with the President on this subject, the President is also concerned with this matter”, - the Prime-Minister said, opening the governmental session in Kyiv on Friday.
”I think that the position of government should be very accurate – to gain insight into this formula, to understand what happens there, and to do everything in order this formula is transparent and corresponds to the real coal price in Ukraine and formation of real price for electrical energy”, Volodymyr Hroisman added
