Professional options have been enumerated

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has entered alterations to the resolution On Procedure for Issue of Vouchers to Maintain Competitiveness in the Job Market, the press-office of the Ukraine’s Ministry of Social Policy reports.

According to Minister for Social Policy Liudmila Denosiva, to issue the study voucher to the citizens aged above 45, the pensionable service should be not less than 15 years. Besides, the government has approved a list of professions, specialties and trends of upgrading qualifications the study voucher will cover.

«Now, it will be easier to obtain a study voucher. In particular, there is no need to submit pensionable service excerpts to the employment bureau. The employment bureaus will obtain personal service records from the exchange data base mutually used by the Ukraine’s Pension Fund and National Employment Service», – said the Minister.

An important feature of this innovation is that the so called female professions such as nursing or social work professions have been included into a list of professions, specialties and trends in qualification upgrade that the voucher comprises. As Ms.Denisova said, this norm is crucial in view of the events that are taking place in the eastern regions of Ukraine. 

A list of educational institutions the applicants can enter to do a course having a study voucher will be updated and made available on the official website of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Throughout the entire period, from April 2013 up to July 2014, study vouchers have been issued to 23.7 thousand persons, 7.2 thousand out of them are now doing the study course.
