NBU’s resolution No.585
The National Bank of Ukraine has assigned to the banks, members of the e-payment system, to transfer their correspondent accounts from the regional to the central branches of the NBU in Kyiv city and Kyiv oblast until the 1st of November, Resolution No.585 dd. September 18, 2014, passed by the regulator says, LIGABusinesinform (ЛIГАБiзнесIнформ) reports.
This document is applied to 53 banks located in 11 oblasts.
Until November 1, 2014, heads of the NBU’s regional branches should monitor implementation of the resolution, while senior officials of Grant Bank, Investbank, Integral-Bank, Capital Bank, Unicombank should monitor closure of the correspondent accounts opened with the NBU’s regional branches.
Simultaneously, within three months from the date the resolution enters into force, heads of units at the NBU’s central office are assigned a task to prepare and submit proposals on bringing the regulator’s regulations in accordance with the said resolution, following the prescribed procedure.
Chair of the NBU Valeria Gontariova has retained the right to oversee implementation of this resolution.
The resolution comes into force on the date following the date of publication in the official gazette.
