The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman forecasts the implementation of electronic document flow in parliament within three months, he said at the meeting with the leaders of factions of the Rada, RBC-Ukraine (РБК-Украина) reports.
«I think that we will implement such technical changes within three months», noted the speaker.
He emphasized that the system will promote maximum transparency and quality of the work of parliamentarians and will help to save costs.
“We spend more money than we could if we were upgraded”, added Groysman.
On October 1 Groysman proposed to create the electronic document flow in the Verkhovna Rada.
The speaker explained that the draft law stipulates that all draft laws, supporting documents, agenda and other documents, which are submitted for consideration, will be posted on the official web-site of the parliament, and the deputies will be notified via e-mail.
According to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, almost 15 tons of paper, which are equal to UAH 190 ths in money terms, were spent for providing the deputies with documents for consideration at plenary sessions for 8 months in 2015.
