President Petro Poroshenko has signed the Decree on introduction of amendments to effective acts of the Head of State, regulating the procedures of coordination of activities of executive authorities in external relations, which, in particular, set forth the expansion of activities of protocol advisers, the press-office of the Official Website of the President of Ukraine reports.
If it is necessary, the positions of protocol advisers can be introduced in all executive authorities, including regional state administrations, within the approved maximum number of workers. The aim of attraction of external political specialists, having professional experience of cooperation with international partners, to executive authorities is the provision of every professional assistance in implementation of efficient, coordinated and consolidated state external policy of Ukraine.
Such amendments are appropriate within the conditions of combatting Russian aggression, search for new markets for selling domestic products and attraction of foreign investments to the country’s economy.
The draft decree was developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and was submitted for consideration by the Head of State, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
