The processor producer Qualcomm, which supplies components for Apple products, accused it of stealing information, being a commercial secret, to assist IT giant Intel, CNBC channel reported on Tuesday quoting Qualcomm's Chief Legal Adviser Donald Rosenberg, UNN reports.
According to the channel, Qualcomm accuses Apple of stealing a "huge amount" of confidential commercial information in order to improve the characteristics of chips of Intel, which manufactures microprocessors and competes with Qualcomm. "The illegal use of Qualcomm's valuable commercial information in trying to help a competitor improve its products causes irreparable damage (t o Qualcomm) and must be discontinued", Rosenberg said.
It is noted that the company did not provide direct evidence in support of its accusations.
