The state flags of Ukraine and Canada were mounted on the square near to the Executive Office of the President. The anthems of both countries were played, the press-office of the official website of the President of Ukraine reports.
The members of Ukrainian and Canadian official delegations, the representatives of Ukrainian, Canadian and foreign media were present at the grand ceremony of the meeting.
The President of Ukraine and the Prime-Minister of Canada viewed the line-up of soldiers of the Guard of Honor, greeted the State Flag of Ukraine by bowing and presented the delegations of their countries.
Upon the completion of the official ceremony of the meeting of the Prime-Minister of Canada the Ukrainian-Canadian negotiations started under the chairmanship of the Head of Ukrainian State and Prime-Minister of Canada.
Today, the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada has been signed.
