At first sight, the Donald Trump’s draft budget, which was published at the beginning of this week, implies that the influx of illegal immigration will be suspended. In the end, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, dealing with immigration issues, is one of many agencies, which obtained the increased funding, AmericaRU reports.
However, the reduction of funding of state aid programs will lead to the increased number of desperate immigrants, running to the USA. President wants to quickly reduce the aid to Central America, which, within the last years, became the main “supplier” of illegal immigrants, and Mexico – the key ally, which is capable of reducing the influx of illegal immigrants. The budget proposal pushes for the reduction of aid to Guatemala, Honduras and Salvador more than by 30 percent. The aid to Mexico will decrease by 45 percent versus 2016.
